Boise Sunrise delivers a grant to Giraffe Laugh
The Rotary Club of Boise Sunrise recently delivered a grant check to Giraffe Laugh in Boise. This impressive organization is committed to a mission of creating “classroom-ready students” in their service to young children in Boise by ensuring school readiness, empowering families and building strong futures through their preschool and school age programs. They currently have four locations in the Treasure Valley and serve approximately 150 students.
Lori Fascilla, Giraffe Laugh’s Executive Director, stated that these funds would be used to provide proper refrigeration at two of their locations for the food pantry. Use of this pantry has gone up by 200% since 2020 and they are able to serve the community at large now by providing this outdoor access for each center and the neighborhoods they reside in. The Boys and Girls Club families also are able to access their pantry in Garden City.
We look forward to hearing more about the progress of this program in the future.
The Rotary Club of Boise Sunrise is committed to long term support of youth and literacy and education. This grant to Giraffe Laugh is meant to put our resources to work on this critical objective as well as to tangibly Leave It Better Than We Found It. We are proud to support the work of Giraffe Laugh. The photo below shows that check being delivered to Lori and to Cassandra Wagner, Giraffe Laugh’s Philanthropy Director. Bravo! To the entire crew at Giraffe Laugh!
