Boise Sunrise and Project Amigo

Project Amigo (P/A) is a Rotary sponsored effort in Cofradia de Suchitlan, Mexico. Many different Rotary clubs from around the USA have visited and supported this impressive facility south of Guadalajara in the state of Colima. P/A supports education and seeks to serve the children of the area. They have financed numerous students through high school and a smaller number all the way through university level education. One of their graduates returned and was elected mayor in Cofradia de Suchitlan!

Project Amigo is an excellent example of Boise Sunrise’s motto of Leaving It Better Than We Found It. We all look forward to regaining the ability to travel to Colima in the future and once again serving this project in whatever way we can.
